Bath time
We have had some interesting experiences with the bath tub lately. The other night Emlin woke up crying and it sounded like she was in pain. Scott rocked her for a while and laid her back down. The next morning when I went to get her she seemed kind of groggy and grumpy. She is usually happy in the morning and greets me with an excited "Hi!" so it was a little out of the norm to have her be unpleasant. But I took advantage of the opportunity to snuggle and settled down on the rocker to see if I could comfort her. She perked up a little but I could tell she wasn't herself. After breakfast I took her upstairs for a bath. As she was playing I snuck off to throw some laundry in. When I came back I could hear giggles. I thought to myself, "Oh good, she has finally woken up, maybe she was just tired?" But then as I turned the corner I saw the real reason for her excitement. The tub was filled with poop. (Sorry that's so disturbing, I'm still traumatized too.) She was so happy, her insides must have been full because that tub was full. This has never happened before so I was mostly in shock (We had another incident similar to this a week earlier, involving nap time and an escape from the diaper but something about soggy poop is much more difficult). I gagged my way through it and got it all cleaned up. Then gave her a second bath. She was back to her normal self after that and I was glad to have an extra clean bathroom, but I fear bath time now.

oh no!! I've had a similar incident and it traumatized Cooper more than it did us. Hopefully you don't have another one like that for a LONG while :)
haha You're lucky you went that long without experiencing it. Ledger did the same a month ago... So gross :)
LOL Isn't that so gross?! There is definitely something about soggy poop that is even more disgusting. But I'm glad she's feeling better.
ha ha ha! So funny. Every mom deserves it at least one time! I love this little monkey face, i want to give her kisses right now... bummer.
I can't believe I haven't run into this yet... I think I just jinxed myself... I'm sure Elliot would think it's hilarious though... he is gross lately and thinks everything about poo and farts are funny. So typical.
At least she wasn't in the shower with you.
She is adorable and getting cuter everyday! I just want to kiss her shmooshy cheeks!
It seems like Remi only does this when Skyler is alone giving her a bath. He starts dry heaving and yelling my name while he hides around the corner for me to take care of the dirty work.
how funny is that! I mean, poor little darling for having a belly ache but so glad that nice warm bath water did the trick!--gross, but hilarious :-P.
