Happy Graduation!

We made it to Graduation! How nuts is that? Scott graduated on July 23, it was awesome. The last couple weeks were pretty challenging and and he is so happy its all over. At least for now, he would like to get a masters eventually.

He took his last final around 10:00 AM on July 23 (friday). After he finished we met his dad at the Crossroads for lunch. They had a tradition of meeting every friday for lunch and I know they are both going to miss that a lot. After lunch I surprised Scott with a massage at Sage Day Spa. They let us be in the same room and Scott was crackin me up. There is nothing that boy loves more than getting massaged. I kept dozin off, that was the most comfortable I have been in a long time. I tried to get Scott to let me take a picture of us in our robes and he refused, he said he would rather die than have that picture be on the internet.

Later that night was his graduation ceremony and convocation. Scott looked so handsome. Elder Richard Hinckley spoke, he sounds just like his dad. He talked about the journeys we take and how we need to listen to our leaders and the spirit and not let other people lead us astray.
Amy and Christy got to be there, it was perfect timing because our reunion was the next week so Christy made it just in time.

Ric got to hand Scott his diploma.

Saturday we went to the 24th of July parade in St. Anthony, then to the air show in Idaho Falls. Both of which were excellent and provided much entertainment in the people-watching department.

And finally to finish off the graduation celebrations, we had a barbecue Saturday night. We had hamburgers and fries - yum! Scott has got some mad bbq skills.

The little kids had lots of fun swinging on the tire swing and jumping on the tramp together.

Ric had a tiny accident involving the collapsing of a chair which sent the entire group into a laugh attack. Then, Amy started honking and we lost all control. I have never seen my dad laugh like that, he had tears coming down and could barely keep it together.

Can you feel the joy in this picture?

Sweet Carmen, so happy all the time.
It was an awesome night. I am glad we have so many great people in our lives that support us and we don't have to do anything alone. Thanks for coming everyone and for taking such good care of us.
