So behind...

Christmas was great! Christmas is always great but this year was really great. We got to spend it with Scott's whole family. All the siblings came up! I lost my camera and wasn't able to find it until after Christmas so I only have pictures of our Christmas decor. We put our fresh tree in the living room. It's totally Charlie Brown and droopy but it made me so happy. Now that it is gone our little house is really empty. We put my grandma's old tree in our room and filled it with Scott's childhood ornaments and the ornaments we have gotten since we got married. His mission president sent him an ornament this year. It says Canada Halifax Mission with the mission logo. I started a new tradition this year, I grew a paper-white from a bulb. (From when our horticulture program went on our fieldtrip, Bro. Barnett gave us all bulbs.) But that thing was really stinky, so next year I'm going to do an amaryllis or something different. We attempted taking a Christmas picture before church one day, this was the best we could do, that timer thing is tricky.
Scott made me this beautiful desk for Christmas. I got him an air compressor. He seemed excited, I don't know how anyone could be excited about an air compressor but its surprising how much we have already used it.

After all the fun of Christmas not too much has been happening at our house. We moved in the beginning of December and we have just been settling in. We don't have internet or T.V. yet...kill me now. Life is rough without them, but I have been more productive with laundry and cleaning. Also, Scott and I are both school so we are trying to keep up with that.

Last week Scott and I got to babysit Brenner and Linden, it was tons of fun and tons of work. Shout out to all you moms, you are my new heroes! But they were super good for us and made us laugh a lot. I really enjoyed waking up every morning to their cute faces.

The first night they were with us Lex and Kyle put them to bed before they left and as we were sleeping Linden woke up around 3:00 am and was wondering the halls. Scott heard her say, "I know they're out here somewhere." Then the door cracked open and she whispered, "I need a mom." I didn't hear what she said but helped her climb in our bed. Scott called me from work the next day to tell me what she said, he was crackin up.
They played together pretty good, Linden totally knows how to make Brenner bust up laughing. It's so obvious he thinks she is pretty cool. Brenner was pretty chilled out he just followed Linden and I around. He is going to be a good husband because he was really patient while we were getting ready for the day. Sometimes Scott and I would catch ourselves just watching these two, they were definitely good entertainment.
The last day we watched them Mack came over, while Annalee went to the Doctor. What a little stud. He is getting pretty dramatic, I love his 'angry eyes' face.
But life is back to normal now and Scott and I are back to watching our Redbox while chowing down a Craigo's $5 Pizza...we really need a life.

Yeah, I love it when you post! Hats off to you sista on watching those kids. I'll bet you were exhausted when you were done. I forget that Scott is so talented with wood work. Do you think he could make me a headboard for Taison's room? How much? Anyway, love the post and I want to see your cute place! Maybe I will have to come up one day.

Ok, one more comment. I totally stole your picture layout that you used at the top of your blog. Since I am not creative myself, I had to steal yours. Hope that's ok?
